Please get in touch if you are interested in a Taiko performance at your event

The group developed from the regular workshops that happen near Crickhowell and has had more than 20 different members since it began, ranging in age from 20s to 80s, some travelling considerable distances to play with us. We aim to have fun, develop our skills, repertoire and creativity, gently expand our limits and take the opportunities that come our way to showcase what we do and inspire people to have a go themselves.

PERFORMANCES ~ Taiko Mynydd Du has played at many events and festivals in South Wales and beyond, including Talgarth festival, Merthyr Tydfil Global Village, Crickhowell Festival, Hay on Fire Festival, Newport Big Splash Festival finale, Walking Festival, Crickhowell, Caerleon festival, Kingfest, Mallyfest, Feral Flea Fest and the Landed Festival.
