ABER TAIKO
Aber Taiko is a community-drumming group based in Swansea.
It was founded as a constituted group by Yasmin Friedmann in September 2015. After returning from Japan in late 2013, Yasmin organised several taiko workshops in Swansea in order to find more people who loved taiko and would like to play together.
TARANAU TAIKO
The first women’s taiko group in Wales, Taranau Taiko was formed early in 2016 for a performance at The Millenium Centre, Cardiff, for International Women’s Day celebrations in March. Promoting independence, freedom and achievement. We played in Swansea and Cardiff on 12th March 2017. Contact us for more details.
